Ashley Brown is an American actress, singer, and dancer, best known for playing the titular character in the United States national tour and Broadway production of Mary Poppins. She also played Belle for the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast and played Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Symphonic Retelling at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as performed at various celebratory events related to the company.
Brown was born February 3, 1982, in Gulf Breeze, Pensacola, Florida, and studied at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Shortly after graduating, she caught the attention of a casting agent and was cast in the Disney touring production On the Record. She has since appeared in various musical production throughout the U.S., such as The Sound of Music, Limelight: The Story of Charlie Chaplin, Show Boat, Hello Dolly!, My Fair Lady, The Golden Apple, and Cinderella.
She also appeared on television shows, such as All My Children, Zoey 101, I'm with Her, Still Standing, Strong Medicine, and The Young and the Restless as well as NBC's production of The Sound of Music Live!.
