- “You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. Look, the world has put you through the ringer and so much is changing. It's okay to be scared. That's not a weakness. I was scared too, you know. When it became just you and me. I thought Ben would be here to help me.”

Role in the series[]
Season One[]
In the first episode, she drives her nephew to Midtown High after he missed the subway train for his orientation. Peter praises his aunt for always sticking by his side and feeling positive despite Ben's recent death. Following the chaos from the Symbiote alien, she witnesses her nephew passing out, unaware that he has been bitten by a radioactive spider.
In the second episode, May is greeted by Norman Osborn just before Peter returns home from school and speaks to him about offering her nephew an internship at Oscorp. Peter accepts and May congratulates him, excited for what Peter will bring to the internship. By the time of the third episode, May is clearing out some old things when she comes across some old things that once belonged to Ben, like his bowling shirt. Peter asks May why she is getting rid of all this stuff to which she doesn't give a proper answer, but feels it is good to do so.
In "Duel With the Devil", May allows Peter, Harry and Nico to watch adult movies while she leaves and gives them Ben's DVD player to use. May then leaves, telling them not to wait up for her. In "Scorpion Rising", May is contacted by Harry Osborn that Peter is staying over at his place for the night, when in reality, he fights Scorpion and ends up severely injured.
In "Tangled Web", May is home when Peter walks in after being taken care of by Norman's private medical team. May notices Peter's bruised face and broken arm, asking him what happened. Covering up that he is Spider-Man, Peter tells May that he fell off of Harry's skateboard the night before. May believes the story but expresses her concerns for her nephew and states that she is going to worry. Peter understands and hugs May as he enters his room.
In "Hero or Menace", May is seen watching TV with Peter when he gets a call from Norman about Otto Octavius. In "If This Be My Destiny...", May visits a local prison and speaks to a prisoner, who is revealed to be Richard Parker, Peter's father, who asks her how he is doing, to which she tells him better than expected.
