Ayanna and Alanna are the two identical twins from the royal family of Atlantica being the children of King Triton. They serve as supporting characters in the Disney Jr. TV series Ariel, being the harmonized sisters of the character of the same name and young nieces of their beloved auntie Ursula.
They are loosely based off of King Triton's Daughters from The Little Mermaid in the sense that the two traditionally start and end with the same letter in their names; otherwise they stand as original characters for the series.

Physical appearance[]
Ayanna has dark matte skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair that is styled in several mini bantu knots secured by yellow, pink, and purple pearls. She also has a pearl-white headband featuring a mini pink star-shaped bead, and a pearl bracelet with a pink star on her right wrist.
Alanna has the same skin, eyes, and hair color as Ayanna, has a matching headband with a yellow heart, and wears her hair in four relaxed twists secured by yellow and pink beads and a pink color scheme. Several heart pins can be spotted across her hair like Ayanna has a star around her waist.
Personality and abilities[]
Ayanna and Alanna are often synchronized and make jokes about how they think the same way, which can be seen in Ariel's Mermaid Tales where they also give Ariel a makeover, demonstrating their creativity and love for helping others out.
Trivia[]
- In The Little Mermaid and its live-action remake, Ariel has six sisters meaning this is the first time she is only seen with two, whereas she does not have any in the TV series Once Upon a Time.
