"Aye, Aye, Captain Mickey" is the ninety-seventh episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Disney Jr. on June 15, 2012 and is the thirtieth episode in the third season.
Synopsis[]
The gang gets on Ludwig Von Drake's new submarine to retrieve Mickey's lucky coin.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers and introducing his lucky coin. Goofy and Pluto then arrive, and Mickey shows them the coin. Goofy flips it, but he does so too high and the coin lands on the bottom of Mickey Lake. Minnie tells Mickey about it, and Goofy apologizes for losing the coin. Since Mickey Lake is big and deep, Ludwig Von Drake arrives, having heard everything. He has just invented the Von Drake Super-Duper-Duper-Under-the-Water Submarine Boat, which will be used to go to the lake and look for the coin. Mickey will be the captain, and goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: giant safety scissors, a bouncy ball, a seashell, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Mickey, Goofy, and Von Drake then head to Mickey Lake while Pluto watches the Clubhouse. Once at Mickey Lake, Von Drake tells the gang that his camper turns into the submarine when the button that plays the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" is pressed. The red one plays "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", while the green one plays "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". The camper then turns into the submarine, and Mickey takes it into the lake with the gang singing about seeking his lucky coin.
Since the coin dropped to the bottom of the lake, Von Drake makes a map of the lake, called the Von Drake Super-Sonar-Map-Maker, to speed up the search. To get to the coin, the gang has to go past the Star-Shaped Rocks, the Big Square Blocks, and then the Coral Maze, where the coin is. Afterwards, the siren blares and Mickey stops the submarine, as a whale is in the way. Since the whale wants to play with the submarine, Von Drake calls Toodles for the bouncy ball, which the whale plays with.
The gang continues their search for the coin, and Von Drake tells them to look for the Star-Shaped Rocks first. Mickey sees them ahead, and turns the submarine around them left. Up next is the Big Square Blocks, and Goofy attempts to steer the submarine, to the dismay of Donald, who attempts to take over the steering. As a result, the submarine gets stuck in seaweed. The gang then calls Toodles for the safety scissors, used to cut the seaweed to free the submarine.
Later, the siren blares again, as the submarine has arrived at the Coral Maze. The coin is at the center of the maze. Diver Pete then arrives, and promises to help the gang get to the center of the Coral Maze. The cost is five puka shells, angering Donald. Goofy has them in his hat, and they get sent to Pete, who calls his friend, Sea Brisket, who knows the way through the Coral Maze. Since Pete's call isn't loud enough, since Sea Brisket is too far away, Mickey calls Toodles for the seashell, used to make Pete's voice louder so that Sea Brisket can hear him.
Once Sea Brisket arrives, she takes Pete through the coral maze with the gang following. They eventually make it to the center of the maze, where the lucky coin is inside a giant sleeping clam. To retrieve the coin, Mickey calls Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a feather, used to tickle the clam so that he laughs out the lucky coin. It then gets returned to Mickey, and the gang heads out of the lake and to the Clubhouse, where they do the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with them exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.
