Betty Jean "B.J." Ward is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She is the creator and star of Stand-Up Opera, a musical one-woman show, as well as being a licensed aviator.
She has done several voice roles for Disney, primarily in the theme parks. Among them are:
- Sarah in Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
- The safety spiel announcer for the SeaCabs in The Living Seas[1]
- The narrator and Tron SuperSpeed Tunnel voice of Disneyland's PeopleMover
- The safety spiel announcer on It's a Small World
- Several singing voices in Splash Mountain, including Mother Possum and Mother Rabbit in the Disneyland version
- The unload platform spiel announcer in Walt Disney World's Peter Pan's Flight
- Various spiels on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
- Various spiels on Spaceship Earth
- Various voices in Epcot and Disneyland Paris
She also voiced Harmond on TaleSpin, Birdie McQuack and Loopey McQuack in DuckTales, Fleance in Gargoyles, and a Street Mother in The Return of Jafar.
