"Babysitter Bunga" is the twenty-seventh episode of the Disney Jr. animated series, The Lion Guard. It premiered on July 7, 2017 and is the first episode in the second season.
On the Savannah, Muhimu's herd is grazing peacefully. Nearby, Reirei and her jackal family are preparing for an attack to help Dogo and his sister Kijana learn how to ensnare a herd's little one. The jackals attack and succeed in separating Hamu from the rest of the herd. Fortunately, the Lion Guard appears to save Hamu and drive the jackals off. A shaken Muhimu asks Bunga to watch over her son while she gets some relaxation time. Bunga takes Hamu back to Hakuna Matata Falls where they have a lot of fun.
At the Lair of the Lion Guard, Ono reminds the others that they do depend on Bunga to help trapped animals. They try to teach themselves how to climb, to no avail. Meanwhile, Muhimu tells the other mothers about leaving Hamu with Bunga. This makes the other mothers leave their kids with Bunga at Hakuna Matata Falls too. The little kids have fun learn how to kick, jump, and slide from Bunga.
Meanwhile, Reirei and the other jackals are preparing to attack but call it off when they see there are no little ones to be found. Unfortunately, they overhear one of the mothers say the little ones are with Bunga at Hakuna Matata Falls. Reirei tells Goigoi to distract the Lion Guard while they nab the little ones. Goigoi tries to be a decoy but only succeeds in alerting the Lion Guard to Reirei's plan. At Hakuna Matata Falls, Reirei and the other jackals attack but get driven back by Bunga and the little ones. The Lion Guard and the mothers show up and are impressed that Bunga taught the little ones to defend themselves.
