Bad, Bad Boy is a deleted song from Disney's film A Goofy Movie. It was first established in the documentary Not Just a Goof, with footage of the ending part of the song being shown.
Background[]
The song was meant to take place after Principal Mazur called Goofy to tell his son, Max has caused a disruption at the school assembly, exaggerating it to make it seem like Max has committed a criminal act. Goofy then imagines Pete, dressed in an Elvis Presley outfit, mocking Goofy for how Max turned out in song (backed up by some female dancers), which would have ended with a thug-looking adult Max about to be executed via the electric chair (which Mazur warned Goofy about during his phone call) and Goofy races up a long stairway to save Max, only to somehow switch places with him and Max ends up pulling the switch and electrifies Goofy.
Lyrics[]
Pete: (singing) Oh little Maxie.
Girls: One, two, three, four!
Pete: Oh little Maxie's head, it's a mess.
All: B-b-b-ba, b-b-b-bam! B-b-b-ba, b-b-b-bam! B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b Bad, Bad
Pete: Boy!
Girls: B-b-b-ba, b-b-b-b-ba B-b-b-ba, b-b-b-b-ba B-b-b
All: Bad, Bad, Boy!
(Goofy: (hollers))
Trivia[]
- Only the ending part of the song has any established lyrics.
- This is likely an updated version of another deleted song for A Goofy Movie, Born to Be Bad, only in this context, Goofy works at as a photographer at the local alongside Pete as shown in the final film instead of in an office, which is where he was going to work a in a previous draft for the film), "Bad, Bad Boy" is a lot more upbeat and chaotic compared to "Born to Be Bad" being more slow and creepy and Pete is singing in the place of Don, who would've been Goofy's boss in the office draft.
