"Bad Luck Chibis" is the second episode of the Disney Channel series Chibiverse.
Synopsis[]
Anne Boonchuy and Sprig Plantar are co-hosting the Chibiverse with Cricket and Tilly Green.
Plot[]
Tilly and Cricket are hosting again along with first-time hosts Anne Boonchuy and Sprig Plantar. The episode's finale will consist of a human chibi pyramid. Sprig asks Hop Pop how he's doing, and Hop Pop assures him he's doing fine and wishes the hosts good luck, which makes Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor scream in fright for no reason. This does not bode well as Anne tells them that in human culture, wishing good luck in the theater is actually bad luck. Her explanation seems to be proven correct as the lights start falling down on the stage, almost hitting them. Anne asks Doofenshmirtz if he used one of his Nators, which he denies by shaking his head no. Anne falls through a trap door and announces the first pair of shorts that she and Sprig star in.
After getting Anne out from the door, Hop Pop apologizes for supposedly cursing the show. Anne warns him that saying the name of the play Macbeth is also bad luck, causing everyone to say Macbeth as more trap doors open.
If the bad luck persists, the chibi pyramid will be at great risk. Hop Pop brings a clover with thirteen leaves. Anne corrects him by saying a four-leaf clover brings good luck and the number thirteen is bad luck. A lightning bolt destroys the clover.
Anne remembers that saying good luck allegedly calls upon mischievous spirits. Cricket asks Molly for advice on contacting them, and she simply suggests calling them. The hosts call upon the spirit of the chibi theater. The spirit arrives and turns out to be Scratch who has a job as the theater spirit with free popcorn as payment. Anne explains to Scratch their quandary and asks if they offended him. He says they didn't as those superstitions don't apply to him. However, he has a strict rule against gloating at curtain calls as he does not like show-offs. Sprig notices tiny footprints that lead backstage. They follow them and find out it was Polly the whole time.
Caught red-handed, Polly confesses that she only made them believe they had bad luck because she wasn't invited to host with them; she then realizes her mistake. Then Cricket decides to let her host by announcing the final pair of shorts, which she does and adds that she stars in them.
With the show wrapping up, it's time for the chibi human pyramid. Every chibi gathers and forms a perfect towering pyramid. Unfortunately, Cricket forgets the one rule and starts gloating of his position at the top. An offended Scratch pulls a lever that opens a stage-size trap door which everyone falls into.

Trivia[]
- This is the first episode in which each regular title card in this episode has a unique tag line at the bottom where the bottom was labeled: "For chibis by chibis."
- Amity, Darkwing Duck, Grunkle Stan, Mabel and Dipper Pines, and Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable all make cameos in the Chibi pyramid.
Errors[]
- When the YouTube video was initially uploaded on the day of this episode's premiere, the Descendants short Descendants Date Night showed the title card for the Halloweentown short First Date Fright, which was not shown. This was eventually fixed by reusing the title card from the previous episode.
- When Scratch first appears to reveal he's the theater spirit, he's not wearing anything. In the next shot he's in and throughout the rest of the episode, he's wearing a beret and scarf.
