And my associates.” - ―Snow White and Jonathan
The Bandits are characters who appear in the 2025 live-action remake of Snow White. They are criminals who steal from the Evil Queen to fend for themselves, before later helping Snow White take back her kingdom from her tyrannical stepmother.
Background[]
At some point before the film's events, Jonathan met these men and formed a friendship with them, agreeing to become their leader. The bandits would steal from people to help themselves and survive after the Queen took over following the King's death, as she would not care for anyone but herself, especially people in need.
Role in the film[]
The leader of the bandits, Jonathan, is first introduced as she attempts to steal food for himself and his friends, although Snow White, not revealing her identity, tries to get him to stop as he is stealing. However, the Huntsman finds him and is brought to the Queen who has him chained to the Queen's castle's gates, where he is sent to spend the night to freeze to death. However, Snow White frees Jonathan as she feels sorry for him and gives him bread as food before he runs off and returns to the forest, where the bandits are waiting him.
Later on after Snow White is told to escape into the forest by the Huntsman, she runs into Jonathan again, who sings about the problems she is having don't apply to him. While singing, Jonathan takes Snow White to where his associates are and she is aimed at by one of the members with what she thinks is a bow and arrow, when in reality it is just a slingshot.
The bandits learn that the Queen has sent her guards after Snow White as the Huntsman has failed to kill her. Jonathan and his friends agree to help Snow White escape by tricking the guards into believing she is nearby and that they will tell them where she has gone. As Snow White runs away, the bandits and Jonathan fight the guards and hide with Snow White. Jonathan and Snow White bond and learn more about each other during this adventure, but their efforts to hide from the guards does not go to plan as one of the guards aims an arrow at Snow White, but Jonathan takes the hit for her, gravely injuring him. Snow White and the bandits take Jonathan to the cottage of the Seven Dwarfs, but both groups cannot get along as they refuse to work together, but give in after Snow White's words of encouragement, believing them arguing is what the queen wants. From encouragement from Snow White, Doc is able to heal Jonathan by sunset while everyone else waits outside the cottage.
Later that night, Jonathan is healed and Quigg informs Snow White that Jonathan took the arrow for her, which makes her realise she has feelings for the bandit, which Jonathan soon reciprocate as they express their love through song. The couple are about to kiss, but notice the bandits and dwarfs are all watching them. Although their moment is ruined when everyone hears the palace guards come towards the cottage and although Snow White wants to join them and Jonathan, he tells her to stay as she is the one the guards are looking for. Jonathan tells Snow White that he will be back in two days before he leaves the area with his friends.
However, a day later, after Jonathan is freed from the castle dungeon, he rides towards the dwarfs' cottage only to find them morn Snow White as she has been put under a sleeping curse by the Queen. Jonathan kisses Snow White, which frees her from the spell and together with the dwarfs and the bandits, they return to the castle with the rest of the kingdom, to stand up to the Queen once and for all. When the Evil Queen tries to kill Snow White with a sword, one of the bandits is able to use his crossbow to destroy the sword and the Queen makes a run for it, into her castle, where Snow White follows her.
After the Queen's defeat and aparant death, the kingdom returns to its former glory with Snow White as the new Queen, and Jonathan becomes the King consort through their marriage. The bandits, dwarfs and villagers celebrate with the royal wedding and celebrate the fact that they can all live in peace, with hope and joy.

- Quigg is the only member other than Jonathan, whose name is said aloud in the film; when he threatens Snow White with the slingshot.
