Synopsis[]
Vampirina loses her voice just before a Ghoul Girls performance in Transylvania.
Plot[]
The Ghoul Girls finish a performance and are about to practice "Living the Scream" when Oxana tells them that a Scare B&B guests just arrived upstairs. Because of this, they have to practice a little quieter. The guest is a swamp monster named Larry Moss, who works in the Transylvania music business. Oxana brings the fog machine to him while the Ghoul Girls continue practicing. Moss arrives, having liked the performance. He mentions what he does, and decides to work with the Ghoul Girls, which isn't what he usually does and get everything ready for tomorrow's concert.
Gregoria mentions that the Ghoul Girls need to ask their parents first, and Vampirina is excited about the upcoming concert. Although the Ghoul Girls have been playing all day, Vampirina tells them that they need to be at their best tomorrow. After more practicing, they seem very tired, as well as Demi and Gregoria, and then go to bed. The next morning, Vampirina loses her voice, and tells Demi and Gregoria about it. Vampirina tries Transylvanian tea with lemon, but it doesn't work. Demi arrives with a book, stating that that was the cure to a magic zombie voice. He recites a spell to replace pipes, but Vampirina makes different voices every time.
Gregoria then brews up a gargoyle tunic, but Vampirina's voice isn't any better. Gregoria mentions that it only works if Vampirina tells the truth. Poppy and Bridget then arrive, and Gregoria tells them what happened to Vampirina's voice. So, the Ghoul Girls need to find a solution before Moss finds out. Moss then arrives, and Poppy tells him that Vampirina can't find her lucky guitar pick. Moss decides to work with Vampirina, and tells her what she'll be doing at the concert. As he is about to make sure the stage is all set up, he tells Vampirina how she's feeling, and Demi tells the truth about her voice. Moss mentions that music is about the look instead of the sound. So, Poppy will sing for the Ghoul Girls.
Once they arrive for the concert, Moss tells Poppy to sing and Vampirina can mouth the words to make it look like she's singing. Demi and Gregoria are unsure of it, but Poppy and Bridget decide to do so. The Ghoul Girls then arrive for the performance. Boris and Oxana immediately notice Poppy's voice, and wonder where Vampirina is. Vampirina stops the performance, and tells the truth over who was doing so. She tells the truth regarding the Ghoul Girls, and her voice then returns. Vampirina apologizes to the Ghoul Girls, and states that if she's a star, they all are together. They then perform a song about how great they are when they shine together, making the concert a success. Moss decides to make the Ghoul Girls famous, but they just want to play for fun together as friends.
