"Battle for the Zenith" is the first segment of the fifty-eighth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on October 19, 2017 alongside "Mission Force Plus One", and is the first segment of the fourth episode in the third season.

Synopsis[]

When a Nemesystems expert thief steals the Zenith, Mission Force One must catch their starship and retake it.

Plot[]

In the Nemesystems stormship, Malison is trying to sneak past Aggro to the bridge. Although told by Commander Nemex that she is late, Malison did sneak past Aggro again. To help with controlling the universe, Nemex wants Malison to steal something for him: Mission Force One's starship, the Zenith.

At that time, Mission Force One has just finished cleaning the outside of the Zenith when Zeno tells Miles about a call from the Tomorrowland Mission Center. Haruna and Blodger tell Admirals Watson and Crick that the team was getting the ship, which is now very shiny, ready for the TTA parade of ships. Watson says that all of the TTA's most important starships will zoom past the Tethoscape and show off the fleet that connects the universe. It is also a very moving experience. As the head of the entire Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Commander Copernicus will be there. Watson warns Miles that the parade starts in two hours and to be on time, since Copernicus does not like to be kept waiting. Mirandos says that the team will be on their way as soon as they charge up the Zenith.

Loretta sees that the closest charging station is on the Phantasmos moon. Miles decides for the team to head there, not noticing a spy-eye recording everything. Mirandos says that due to its foggy and creepy atmosphere, it is the perfect place to steal the Zenith, and sets course for that moon.

After pressing a wrong button, Blodger presses the button that charges the ship. Just then, Zeno picks up a call from somewhere on the moon, which sounds urgent. The team then hears what they think is someone lost in the fog and who needs help. Miles decides for Mission Force One to find her and tells M.E.R.C. to get the robot pets to help.

Miles tells the team to separate into pairs and Questcom the group as soon as they find the little girl. After more searching, Miles and M.E.R.C. see a hologram of a girl, who didn't need any help at all; it was actually Malison. The hologram was projected by a spy-eye. Malison introduces herself to Miles and also reveals that she is on the Zenith to steal the ship before signing off. Miles notices that Nemesystems is behind this and tells Mission Force One to report back to the Zenith, as it's being stolen.

Malison decides to shut Zeno down with her AI override. She then calls various striker bots, and after double checking that no one else is on board the Zenith, she takes off just as Mission Force One arrives. Miles tries to contact the Zenith to no avail. Miles tells the team that the voice was from Malison, who works for Nemesystems. Although that was not a good trick, that was the risk the team had to take, as ignoring cries for help isn't an option.

Miles decides for the team to stay on their toes around Malison, and decides to call the Admirals. He tells them about Nemesystems stealing the Zenith. Miles tells them that to get the ship back, the team needs to borrow the nearest TTA ship. Watson says that there is one very close to him, and the Admirals will send it right away. Miles tells Mission Force One that they're going after the Zenith. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode.

Mr. Xylon and his mail shuttle appear. Xylon says that not everyone will fit inside, so he'll stay there with the robot pets until a transporter can pick them up. He also has Booster Bites for the robot pets. Once Mission Force One boards the mail shuttle and leaves Phantasmos, Loretta sees that the Zenith's engines leave an ion trail which is still visible. After being acknowledged by Miles, TeeBeeDee activates the stellar drive.

Blodger's shapeshifting skills are getting better all the time, because now that Mission Force One has caught up to the Zenith, Miles has a job for him. Blodger, who shapeshifted as Mr. Xylon, tells Malison that he has a mail delivery for him, which Malison refuses. Miles decides for Mission Force One to sneak aboard, which Malison sees. Miles tells Malison that Mission Force One is taking back the Zenith. Malison orders the striker bots to capture the intruders.

After Loretta deactivates the security cameras, Miles decides for the team to get to the bridge any way they can. Miles takes the ship's utility tunnel while Loretta uses holo-hexes to deactivate two striker bots. Haruna uses his shock punch to deactivate two more. Mirandos solidizes a sledgehammer to deactivate another striker bot. Blodger shapeshifts into a bouncy wall to deactivate two more striker bots before another traps him. The same thing then happens to Haruna, Mirandos, and Loretta.

Malison tells Nemex and Aggro, who are approaching the Zenith, that she is down to her last four striker bots, and that all but one of the crew has been captured. Miles uses his laser staff and blast shield to deactivate the remaining four striker bots. Miles then approaches the bridge, and tells Malison that he is taking back the Zenith. Malison tells the reasons why Nemex wants the Zenith, however, Miles uses his Lazerang to get Zeno back online. Malison decides to free the rest of Mission Force One. She then leaves the Zenith and heads back to her ship to leave the Zenith and tells Nemex everything that happened. Nemex says that they will find other chances to steal the Zenith.

With the mission accomplished, Mission Force One decides to head to the Tethoscape. There, the ships are circling around, but the Zenith is not there. However, the ship arrives just in time, and Miles questions how it is for a big finish.
