"Beach Night" is the first segment of the thirty-fourth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on June 21, 2019 alongside "Gregoria Takes Flight" and is the first segment of he ninth episode of the second season.
Plot[]
Wolfie wakes Vampirina up, and she then realizes that today is beach day with the Peeplesons. Vampirina is disappointed about the weather when Poppy appears and states that sunny days are perfect for the beach. Vampirina states that vampires and bright sun are a bright combination, but they'll have the best beach day ever. The Hauntleys are preparing for the day, as well. Vampirina states that if she stays in the sun too long, she gets the batties. After Vampirina mentions it, Boris brings the extra super strength vampire sunblock. Demi puts it in the ghost swim trunk when Edna and Edgar arrive. Everyone then heads to the beach, not knowing that the sunblock got left behind when Demi threw it while heading in one of the baskets.
During the ride to the beach, Vampirina states what she and Poppy will do there. While the car stops for a bathroom break, Vampirina and Edgar check to make sure if they have everything. However, Gregoria notices Demi's bag missing, and Demi realizes that he left it on the kitchen table. Poppy offers her sunscreen, but Oxana states that it wouldn't work, which is why vampires prefer a cloudy day at the beach. After she mentions it, Vampirina decides for them to have a beach night, like the Hauntleys did in Transylvania. They can get to the beach and have a spooktacular time when the sun goes down.
Demi deflates one of the car's tires when Edna and Edgar arrive. As Boris looks for a spare tire, Edgar records Vampirina and Poppy explaining what may have caused the flat tire. Edna then puts the spare tire in, and everyone continues their journey to the beach. Vampirina notices a sign leading to the park, and Boris takes the path there. Edgar takes pictures of an eagle and later checks the GPS for directions to the beach. Boris then turns the car around so that it heads to the right direction. Demi then announces that Boris should turn around due to the weather possibly leading to the beach being closed. Then, he puts on a song promoting how great it is to go to the beach, and that is Vampirina and Poppy's favorite song. Everyone then joins in the singing.
Later, Gregoria and Demi are wondering when they'll get to the beach when Vampirina mentions that Boris has been driving in circles. Oxana uses the GPS to head to the beach, making Vampirina nervous as the Hauntleys and the Peeplesons arrive at the beach. However, Vampirina notices that the super long road trip worked, as the sun went down. She states that that is the Hauntleys' favorite time at the beach. Vampirina mentions the things that can be done during the night but not during the day, and Oxana makes a bonfire. Edgar likes it, and the Hauntleys then have a beach night party with the Peeplesons joining in. Edna states that she had lots of fun, and Edgar and Poppy agree with that. Everyone is then ready to head home, and Boris turns the car around when the GPS reminds him that he is going the wrong direction.
