Beloved is a 1998 gothic psychological horror drama film directed and produced by Jonathan Demme, based on the novel of the same name by Toni Morrison, while Oprah Winfrey co-produces and stars in it. The movie also stars Danny Glover, Thandiwe Newton, Kimberly Elise, Beah Richards, Lisa Gay Hamilton, and Albert Hall.
Synopsis[]
A former slave is haunted by a malicious poltergeist. Later, she is visited by a friendly woman named Beloved whom she invites into her home, only for her to be revealed to possess unusual abilities that change her and her family forever.
