Benjamin Edward Meara "Ben" Stiller is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director. He is best known for writing, starring in, directing, and/or producing numerous comedy films, but his most notable roles are Greg Focker in the Meet the Parents film trilogy, Derek Zoolander in the Zoolander film series, Ted Stroehmann in There's Something About Mary, Reuben Feffer in Along Came Polly, Larry Daley in the Night at the Museum film trilogy, and as the voice of Alex the lion in DreamWorks' Madagascar franchise. Additionally, his production company is Red Hour Films.
For Disney, he portrayed Tony Perkis and his father in the 1995 comedy film Heavyweights. He also played Jim Uptegrove in the 1990 Touchstone Pictures film Stella, Chas Tenenbaum in The Royal Tenenbaums, and Rabbi Jacob "Jake" Schram in Keeping the Faith. Additionally, he voiced Khaka Peu Peu in the Phineas and Ferb episode "The Beak" and himself in the spin-off Take Two with Phineas and Ferb.
