Bernard Tuskmon is the father of Tylor Tuskmon and the husband of Millie Tuskmon in the Disney/Pixar animated series, Monsters at Work.
Background[]
Bernard is a pale orange one-eyed monster with two short horns protruding from the left and right side of his head. Located below Bernard's eye is a light orange mustache with his eyebrow located on the top of his eye having an orange coloration. In addition to this, Bernard also has black claws seen on each of his four fingers and two toes with his eye having a yellow iris on it.
Role in the series[]
In "Adorable Returns", Bernard Tuskmon approaches the conversation between the Yeti and Otis explaining to Otis that he needs to drop off his son's lunch which he forgot at home. The Yeti then asks Bernard to know if he has ever been banished only for Tylor to interrupt the conversation between his father and the Yeti. Just as Tylor attempts to leave with the Yeti, Bernard alerts him that he forgot his lunchbox just as Tylor leaves with the Yeti, much to Bernard being confused when he nicknamed the Yeti "Dad" just as Tylor tries to catch up with him.
Trivia[]
- Bernard's voice actor, John Ratzenberger, also voiced the Yeti from the original 2001 film and its 2013 prequel.
- Ironically, when the Yeti approaches Bernard who is talking to Otis, the former replies to him, "Hey, you sound familiar. Have you ever been banished?". This is a reference to Bernard's voice actor, John Ratzenberger who shares the same tone with the Yeti.
- The episode "Welcome to Monsters, Incorporated" features a deleted scene where Tylor gives his valedictorian speech at his graduation ceremony while Bernard and his wife compliment him.
