Best of the Muppets featuring The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, released in May 2005, was the first new Muppet album since The Walt Disney Company purchased the rights to the Muppets. It was released as a soundtrack to The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, and also included nine bonus tracks of previously released material from The Muppet Show.
Eight of the nine songs had previously been featured on Music, Mayhem and More!, a CD released by Rhino Records in 2002. The other, non Oz song was from The Muppet Show record. "Halfway Down the Stairs."
