Beta Ray Bill is a Korbinite, who was assigned to protect the last Korbonites alive. He is worthy to lift Mjolnir, giving him the powers of Thor.

While traveling, Beta Ray Bill was caught by Thor, who was sent by Odin. Beta Ray Bill's ship confuses Thor with a Fire Demon. When considering it a threat, Beta Ray Bill and Thor fight, in that fight the unthinkable happened, the korbinite lifted Mjolnir and with the power of Mjolnir, Beta Ray Bill defeats Thor.
Odin worried about his son, then teleports Mjolnir and finds a surprise, another person worthy to carry the Mjolnir. After being defeated by Odin, Beta Ray Bill accompanies Thor together with Eitri. Later, Thor and the Korbinite fighting against Fire Demons, the duo manages to defeat them with the help of Sif.
After the fight, Lady Sif offers help to Beta Ray Bill but rejects this saying with the Stormbreaker is enough to keep away the demons.
