Betty Ross is a character who appears in the Disney XD Marvel Comics animated series Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. In the series, she used to date Bruce Banner behind her father's back. She was present during Bruce's initial transformation into the Hulk. Her relationship with her father rifted when General Ross made it his life goal to hunt the Hulk and to turn him into a weapon.
Over the years, Betty had researched ways to reverse the effects the gamma had on Bruce Banner by top scientists like Tony Stark and Reed Richards, as well as theories from the Leader and Doctor Doom. After managing to cure Bruce of the Hulk, Bruce and Betty began dating again and were about to take their relationship further until an invasion by the Kree led by Ronan the Accuser arrived on Earth, this forced Bruce to imbued himself with gamma again to once more turn him into the Hulk.
