William Ellis "Billy" Porter II is an American actor, singer, director, and writer, who first gained recognition on Broadway. He won Star Search in 1992 and released his self-titled debut album in 1997, which included the Top 10 hit "Show Me". He has also released albums in 2005, 2014, 2017, and 2020, and collaborated with The Shapeshifters on "Finally Ready". Porter has also directed productions, like Being Alive and Once on This Island.
For Disney, he voiced Randall Leibowitz-Jenkins in the Disney+ revival series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. He also voiced Desmond in The Simpsons episode "Highway to Well".
