Billy West

William Richard "Billy" Werstine is an American voice actor, singer, musician, and songwriter. He is best known for his numerous voice roles such as the titular characters Ren Höek (after John Kricfalusi's dismisal) and Stimpy in the Nickelodeon series The Ren & Stimpy Show from 1991 to 1996; and Philip J. Fry, Hubert J. Farnsworth, and Dr. John A. Zoidberg on the Fox sci-fi sitcom Futurama from 1999 to 2013, and also one of the current voices of Elmer Fudd and occasionally Bugs Bunny in various Looney Tunes incarnations (though he would switch with fellow voice actors such as Jeff Bergman)

He voiced Ellyvan in the Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior series Jungle Junction; Rocket Raccoon in Ultimate Spider-Man; Bashful, Gnome King, and Bingo in the Disney XD animated series The 7D; Dr. Caliostro, Dr. Exceter, Pimon, NASA scientist, and Julian DewBerry in Timon & Pumbaa; Grimtrix in Sofia the First; and provided additional character voices in Dinosaur and Gargoyles.

Billy West voiced the titular character Doug Funnie and Roger Klotz in the Nickelodeon series Doug from 1991 to 1994. He didn't reprise the roles in the Disney version that followed in 1996 simply because Disney couldn't afford him after his fame grew from voicing Ren and Stimpy.^[1] Doug creator Jim Jinkins argues that he worked hard to keep West on the series, claiming that the deal the company offered him was breaking their budget.^[2] In 2013, West said he'd prefer it if Nickelodeon resumed production on its version of Doug and not Disney.^[3]
