"Birthdays Are Forever" is the second segment of the seventh episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on April 7, 2009 alongside "The Boy with the Golden Gift".

Plot

Oso is in training to fix the air brakes on his special agent train R.R. Rapide. After using his jet pack to fly down from Dotty’s space jet to Rapide, he tries remembering how to connect a tube to the brakes when he flies out of control and switches the tracks, causing Rapide to go the wrong way and fall into a lake. That’s when he gets a special assignment. A boy named Quinn wants to make a party hat for his birthday photo. So Oso decides to help him make the party hat so he can get a picture of himself wearing it.

Trivia

• The episode's title is a reference to the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever.
• Birthdays Are Forever is a continuation of The Boy with the Golden Gift because of Quinn's birthday being a plot element of both episodes.
