Black Panther is a 2018 superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It is based on the Marvel superhero character Black Panther, who made his debut in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War, and set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was released on February 16, 2018.
Synopsis
Black Panther follows T'Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as Wild King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as both Wild King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a riot conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.[1]
