"The only one I've watched was Sonic X"
I hate Pixar, and the only Pixar movie I've ever watched is Cars 2.
I hate Disney, and the only Disney movie I've ever watched is Chicken Little.
I hate Marvel, and the only Marvel movie I've ever watched is Howard the Duck.
That's basically what you're saying. Your only experience with anime is Sonic X, a badly-written show dubbed by 4Kids, so you decided that all of anime is terrible without looking at any other shows. The next time you decide to label an entire country's animation "terrible", try watching more than one show first!
Oh, and TRIMC, I have lost all respect I had for you. I don't know why I even gave you any respect to begin with.
Don't expect to ever hear from me on this Wiki again. I mean it this time, this Wiki and everyone on it is dead to me.

That's basically what you're saying. You watched a terrible anime, and decided that all of anime is terrible because of it.
Come on I had to watch it cause my little brother made me I never liked Sonic X either because of Chris Thorndyke and I've heard most anime have inappropriate stuff in it and it's art is just ugly no offense and no I don't hate Marvel Howard the Duck was just a ripoff of Donald Duck and I liked Cars 2 and Chiken Little jeez
Never fails. I gave a perfectly articulate response that any dolt with half a brain should be able to understand, and yet you completely missed the point of my comment. I'm honestly not surprised, none of you idiots around here have ever paid attention to anything I had to say before, why should you start now?
Unfollowed. I will not see any more of your moronic responses.
I don't care if you've lost any respect for me.. I never had any respect for you to begin with.
Yeah sure, this Wiki is dead for you, because I gave the final blow on you with my opinion. When you learn to respect other people's opinion, then we can talk again. I've never seen a person being so melodramatic, just because no one agrees with him.
Shake the sand off your face. It's making you sound cranky.
Oh, and good riddance.
The level of ignorance and fanboyism in those comments is staggering. First of all, just because Disney's been in the game longer than almost everyone else doesn't make them inherently better than everyone else. I'm just gonna come out and say it: there is no one master of animation. No one has truely perfected the artform. This is because everyone from Disney, Warner Bros. Studio Ghibli, Hanna-Barbera, Dreamworks, Pixar, Nickelodeon, etc. has their own style and philosophies that they apply to their animations. Granted, there are styles that I prefer over others, and I'll admit that I'm not the biggest anime guy around, though there a few examples (namely Studio Ghibili's films) that look interesting. My problem with anime is that the animation itself is not as fluid and expressive as a lot of western animation, and the designs look a little too similar for my taste. But, I do respect certain aspects that I do respect the medium for, even moreso than a lot of western animation, including Disney. For example, a lot of anime is willing to go into darker and more mature subject matter that a lot of western studios aren't willing to go to (not that it makes them inherently better than everyone else since it depends on its execution, of course). I am aware, however, that a lot of anime is garbage... just like how a lot of western animation is garbage; they each have their masterpieces as well, so you just gotta take the good with the bad.
TL;DR: There is no one true master of animation and every form of the medium has there pros and cons that must be looked at and analyzed based on their own merits. Fact.
I should be getting comments calling me a retard in 3... 2...
I agree with you, Nsanity64. I don't think there is such a thing as a single absolute legend in the realm of animation. There are tons of animation masters besides Uncle Walt (Don Bluth, Hayao Miyazaki, Osamu Tezuki, The Fleischer Bros., etc.) And yeah, most of the comments here seem pretty biased.
