Will director and producer, Jon Favreau and writer Jeff Nathanson make the live-action remake of both Tarzan in the Summer of 2021 and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride in the Summer of 2022? Because if they will, count me in.

The novelization of the remake states that the cub of Simba and Nala at the end is male, so perhaps a new version where Zira has a daughter who goes after Simba's heir
Rafiki: Hehehehe... it is a girl.
Timon: Girl.
Timon and Pumbaa: GIRL?! Ohhh...

A son was implied in some novelizations and a card game inspired by the film. But it was changed to a daughter for the actual film.
I know, but maybe they can recanonize Kopa
I think Kopa is unofficial, but we will see. Some fans have made Kopa a missing son who is separated from his family. In other cases killed, but I like the separated one more.
Kopa is from The Lion King: Six New Adventures, made before The Lion King 2, and is considered Non-canon.
