The reason I say the idea of the movie is strange is:

1, most Disney films seem to exist in different worlds

2, a prep acadamy for the children of heroes? (Then again, it's Disney channel)

3, The idea of all the villains being banished to an Island (plus, some of the "banished" villains died in their films)

4, it sounds like they're combining multiple Disney sequels into one movie. Seriously, at this point they may as well include Melody at this point.

5, The names... Jafar naming his kid "Jay?" The names are obviously meant to be puns on the original villains, but don't make much sense. Why not give "Jay" a slightly middle-eastern name? Or name "Ben" something that's actually French? Or name "Mal" something else that's a pun off of a synonym for "maicious" (since Malificent is partly based on the word Malicious or Malevolent)

Carlos makes sense, though. I could see Cruella naming her kid "Carlos" since Cruella is a more modern villain...speaking of which...

6, The villains also exist in different time periods.

Thank you.

Thank you for making my point for me.

Every single point.

Except for this one I'm adding right now.

7. Cruella was married in the original book, so it is possible for her to have a kid.
