Robert George "Bob" Uecker is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) player and current sportscaster, comedian, and actor. Uecker had been involved with baseball since 1956 when he joined the Milwaukee Braves. He became best known for his jokes that he would make during his career. After retiring from baseball, he became a sports commentator. Besides baseball, he also commented on other sports such as hockey and wrestling.

Uecker stepped into the area of acting and became known for starring in the Major League films and made appearances in Who's the Boss?, D.C. Follies, and LateLine.

For Disney, he voiced Trixie Uecker in Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco, Sports Announcer in Puppy Dog Pals, and Bob Yucker in Monsters at Work. He also voiced the Head of Bob Uecker in Futurama for 20th Television.
