"Boggling the Bears" is the second segment of the twenty-seventh episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on October 17, 1987, and was later paired with "Snows Your Old Man", becoming the second segment of the sixth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Sunni saves the Boggle Ditto, a wild, squirrel-like shapeshifting creature, from a hungry wolf, and takes it back home.
But a shapeshifter—not to mention a whole family of them—tends to make a rather tedious pet!

- Cubbi and Zummi Gummi appear, but don't have any lines.
- Further Paul Winchell, Will Ryan, Michael Rye, Christian Jacobs, and Bill Scott are credited, which might be indicative of archival audio footage being used for the wolf's sounds, as well as that of the Boggles.
- This is originally the eighth episode to premiere separately from its sibling segment, which aired two weeks later (skipping the episode that aired the following week, which was combined with another segment). Both segments were later combined, as originally intended, for all subsequent airings; though the episode order was flipped.
