"Bone Appetit" is the first segment of the seventh episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 16, 2017 alongside "Woodchuck Woodsies".
Plot[]
Oxana is busy preparing something and informs Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget of such. After Gregoria counts down, dust sprays all over the room. Oxana promised dinner for Mr. Froufington, a guest at the Scare B&B, but says that she's bad at cooking. Bridget mentions that Mr. Froufington likes food cooked really well. Oxana mentions that bad reviews could scare away customers. She then decides to try fried ghoul green soufflé, but it quickly smells. Vampirina tells her that it's not how it looks or smells, but how it tastes. She struggles to get a piece of it and eventually drops it, where it is then eaten by Penelope. Demi doesn't like it, so Oxana tries something else.
She mentions that the monster mashed potato pie is a little bit burnt, that not even Penelope likes it. Oxana says that she isn't a fantastic cook, but is still loved just the way she is. Mr. Froufington then arrives, and Oxana tells her that she is cooking up a storm before deciding to show him around the house. Bridget mentions someone else doing the cooking, and Demi decides to go get Chef Remy Bones to help. Bones arrives just as Oxana admits that she can't cook under that much pressure. Bones admits that he is the best skeleton chef in all of the catacombs of Paris. Oxana gives everyone kisses before snipping flowers from the garden for the dinner table, which she is good at.
First, Vampirina cleans everything. Next, Bones mentions about how good he is at cooking things through a song. Bones then presents bone soup. However, Poppy says that it has too many bones for a human. Bones then decides to make something else, one that humans can eat and like. He decides to make eyeball pizza, which Poppy rejects. Bones makes stinky centuries-old eggs, which everyone rejects. Bones mentions that he failed the challenge and leaves. However, after being told by Poppy that humans like different things and Vampirina telling her that she can cook some something humans can like so he can get ideas, Bones is unsure about it, but after being told by Demi, he agrees to help.
Poppy then presents macaroni and cheese, which Bones thinks is boring. With dinnertime quickly approaching, Vampirina mentions that she had to adjust to new things since moving to Pennsylvania, but she had to at least try it to know. She tells Bones that being a great chef means trying new dishes. Poppy and Bones decide to try each other's food, so everyone can make their guests the best meal they can. Poppy and Bones try each other's meals, and they like them. Just then, Oxana tells everyone that Mr. Froufington is back. Later, he likes the dinner, which is macaroni and cheese, baked with centuries-old eggs, and crusted with bread crumbs. He also likes the originality, that being the dinner served in a skeleton's hand. Froufington tells Oxana that the meal is just the right mix of ingredients made in just the right way. Oxana tells everyone of such, and Vampirina and Poppy thank Bones for all the help. Bones thinks Poppy needs a hand for her work, as well.
