Bootle Beetle is an elderly bootle beetle who is Donald Duck's arch enemy in a number of Donald Duck cartoon shorts. He is old and sage, and gives a runaway beetle a dose of reality in the 1949 animated short, The Greener Yard. In later appearances, he appears as a friend of Bucky Bug who lives in Junkville and is often asked for his wise advice by the town's residents.
