Bor is the father of Odin, paternal grandfather of Thor and conquerer of the Dark Elves. He is portrayed by Tony Curran.
This version of the mythological Bor was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Bor led the Asgardians troops during the first Battle of Svartalfheim, to try to stop the Dark Elves who wanted to use the power of the Aether to return to the universe to an eternal darkness. Years later, while Loki and Thor were going to Svartalfheim, the Bor statue is destroyed by his grandson.
