"Bots of Fury" is the first segment of the sixty-second episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on October 30, 2017 alongside "The Accidental Captives", and is the first segment of the eighth episode in the third season.

Plot[]

The Zenith is heading back to Earth. When Mission Force One exits the ship, Miles says that this is where Loretta told the team to meet her. Blodger questions why Loretta told the team to wear their Naxos martial arts uniforms. Just then, Naxos bots surround them.

Loretta then appears and disengages the Naxos bots. She is happy to see Mission Force One again. Loretta introduces the team to the Naxos bots. She says that they are being used to train new recruits for martial arts. Admirals Watson and Crick say that Loretta helped by writing the code and uploading it into each and every bot, and without any code, the robots would stand still. The team thanks Miles for the idea. The thing is, Loretta did have some pretty stellar help.

Afterwards, Silas appears with two Naxos bots and gets introduced to Mission Force One. Haruna tells Silas that he is space-tastically good at Naxos. Loretta coded the bots to move, but Silas trained them to be Naxos experts. He has told the Naxos bots every jump, kick, and swipe they know. Since the Naxos bots are brand new, the Admirals would like Mission Force One to test the bots for the Admirals. If they're ready, they will be used in training all across the Mission Center. Mission Force One agrees to do the task.

It is night, and Loretta says that the goal is to use the Naxos moves to get to the other end of the course. It is easy, unless they get stopped by the Naxos bots along the way. Another way a Naxos bot gets deactivated is when someone does a move through the "X". Miles says that this is going to be fun. After being told by Silas, the Naxos bots begin obstacle course training program, and Mission Force One begins the course.

While they are making progress, M.E.R.C. deactivates a Naxos bot before another catches in a grab snare. Loretta mentions that to Mission Force One, who then continue with the course, with Loretta deactivating another Naxos bot. Blodger deactivates another Naxos bot while Haruna, Mirandos, and Loretta deactivate two more. When Mission Force One completes the course, Miles tells Loretta and Silas that the Naxos bots are really good. Silas always says, "use the best to train the rest."

Mirandos then sees the Naxos bots still coming after Mission Force One, which they shouldn't do. Silas orders the Naxos bots to disengage, but it doesn't work. Loretta realizes that there is a problem with her code. That means the Naxos bots are still playing, and one catches Silas in a grab snare. Silas orders Mission Force One to find a way to stop the bots. The team then hides from the Naxos bots.

Loretta says that she could write down a shutdown code to turn off all the bots, and she needs a computer to do so. Miles says that that is Mission Force One's next mission. Mirandos then sees that there is a computer in the control room. Miles decides to make it to the Mission Center very quietly.

While the team is making it to the Mission Center, a Naxos bot catches Blodger in a grab snare. Mission Force One makes it inside the Mission Center, and Miles and Loretta lock two doors. They then meet the Admirals, who were also caught in a grab snare. Loretta mentions about the training session not going as planned and Silas, M.E.R.C., and Blodger getting trapped. Miles mentions about the shutdown code from the computer in the control room, but Watson says that the Naxos bots wrecked the computer before they trapped the Admirals. Loretta assumes that this is because they're still running their training program and don't want Mission Force One to win. The Admirals then see all of the doors at the Mission Center being locked. Just then, a Naxos bot appears and catches Mirandos in a grab snare before Loretta deactivates it.

Loretta finds out that Mission Force One can find another computer in the Zenith, which is all the way in the hangar. Plus, all the side doors are locked and Haruna, Loretta, and Miles don't have their blast jets. Miles decides for them to get in through the open roof by flying a shuttle.

They eventually make it there, while avoiding more Naxos bots in the process and Miles deactivating one. One Naxos bot hitches a ride on the shuttle and takes off its right engine, causing it to crash. With the bots closing in, Miles decides for him, Haruna, and Loretta to get into the hangar from the outside. Loretta brings a tether in order for them to get there. Haruna decides to distract the bots to give Miles and Loretta enough time to reach the Zenith's computer.

Haruna deactivates lots of Naxos bots and eventually gets caught in a grab snare while Miles and Loretta activate their Naxos helmets. Miles and Loretta use the tether to make it to the Zenith and deactivate more Naxos bots. Loretta decides to write the shutdown code while Miles holds the Naxos bots off. Loretta sends the shutdown code, deactivating all of the Naxos bots and freeing the other members of Mission Force One, as well as Silas and the Admirals.

Sometime later, after Mission Force One completes the Naxos course again, Loretta tells the Naxos bots to disengage, and they comply. Loretta couldn't have wrote the shutdown code without Miles, and also thanks Mission Force One. The Admirals thank Loretta, as with her new code and Silas' expert moves, the Naxos bots are ready to start training new recruits. Silas tells Mission Force One that that is not bad at all. Miles says that that is mission accomplished.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first appearance of Silas as his normal self (a TTA cadet) and not as Commander Nemex (the leader of Nemesystems).
  • This is the only time Mission Force One is seen in their Naxos uniforms. They wear them throughout the whole episode.
