Br'er Pig is a character that only appeared on the opening day poster for Disneyland's Splash Mountain in 1989 at the Disney Parks.

History

Developmental

Br'er Pig was a character that was planned to appear in the Splash Mountain attraction at Disneyland in the Critter Country section, where he would be in the "Everybody's Got a Laughing Place" sequence where he could be seen holding beehives as a juggler entertainer in Rainbow Hollow. However, the idea for the character was scrapped because the water could possibly hit the character, and he was replaced by Blossom-Nose Murphy, but he could still be seen on the opening poster of the attraction which opened on July 17, 1989.

Br'er Pig's only appearance is when Mrs. Bear notice that Br'er Fox was in a disguise pretending to be a secret agent to find the barrel of molasses. She then asked Br'er Fox if he could dance with her at the riverside, where Br'er Pig could be seen playing a trumpet.
