Bracca is an inhospitable junkyard planet located in the Bracca system. It is a planet of the Galactic Republic, but after the transformation of the Republic into the Galactic Empire, it became an Imperial planet.
After the fall of the Empire, Bracca became a New Republic planet.
Background[]
Bracca is a world dominated by rocky plains, located in the Mid Rim Territories with only one moon orbiting the planet. The planet's surface were comprised of junkyards, with countless decommissioned starships and other machinery spread haphazardly, awaiting destruction. Bracca's surface was also crisscrossed by high-speed transport trains that delivered supplies from scrapyards to spaceports.
Due to inhospitable nature of the world, the majority of its population was comprised of scrappers, who made their living breaking down and selling the trash left on the world. This lead to the formation of the Scrapper Guild, an organization that scrapped starships and other materials before selling them on the market.
