Brad Wolfe is a Marvel Comics character who appears in Season 2 of the Disney+ series Loki. He is Hunter X-5 working for the Time Variance Authority, serving under General Dox. He later goes to the Sacred Timeline and tries to reclaim his original life as an actor who stars in the movie The Zaniac!, but he ends up being captured and brought back to the TVA.
Brad Wolfe was created by Doug Moench and Keith Pollard.
Background[]
Brad Wolfe previously had a normal life on the Sacred Timeline, where he was a famous actor and stared in the movie The Zaniac!. One day, under unknown circumstances, he created a nexus event which caused his timeline to branch, so he was captured by Time Variance Authority and his timeline was destroyed. But instead of being pruned and sent to the Void like many other Variants, he had his memories erased to work for the organization.
At the TVA, he was turned into a Hunter, a commander to the Minutemen, and is identified as "Hunter X-5". Besides not remembering his past, he was also told that the Time Keepers created the organization and all its members, thus he was unaware that the Time Keepers are mindless androids being controlled by the real founder of the TVA, He Who Remains.
Trivia[]
In the comics, Brad Wolfe is an actor who portrays a serial killer named Zaniac, but then he is possessed by the real Zaniac, a demonic entity from the Dark Dimension.
