Synopsis[]
One of the first books released after the film's release in Australia. This book is one in a set of three. The three stories printed in the American Little Golden Book were split up into three separate books for printing in Australia. Printed by Colourtone Pty. Ltd. Brer Rabbit decides to leave the Briar Patch. On the road, he becomes ensnared in a sapling trap. Just when he thinks he's done for, along comes Brer Bear. Brer Rabbit convinces Brer Bear to switch places with him in the trap in order to make "a dollar a minute." Just as Brer Fox arrives to retrieve his captive, Brer Rabbit gets away.[1]
