Bryce Dallas Howard (born March 2, 1981) is an American film actress, writer and director. She is known for her role as Claire Dearing in the 2015 film Jurassic World. She is the daughter of director Ron Howard and niece of actor Clint Howard.
For Disney, she played a forest ranger, named Grace Meacham, who finds the boy and does not believe his stories about a dragon in the 2016 live-action remake of Pete's Dragon. She also played Hilly Holbrook in The Help, and Ivy Elizabeth Walker in The Village.
