Bryce Dallas Howard is an American film actress, writer, and director. She is known for her role as Claire Dearing in the 2015 film, Jurassic World and Gwen Stacy in the 2007 Sam Raimi film Spider-Man 3. She is the daughter of acclaimed film director and producer Ron Howard and niece of actor Clint Howard.
For Disney, she played a forest ranger, named Grace Meacham, who finds the boy and does not believe his stories about a dragon in the 2016 live-action remake of Pete's Dragon. She also played Hilly Holbrook in The Help and Ivy Elizabeth Walker in The Village, and she directed episodes of The Mandalorian.
