Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp is a 2018 revival of the original Bug Juice series on Disney Channel. This is Disney Channel's fifth revival of an original series and ran from July 16, 2018 to August 9, 2018.
Plot[]
Chronicles the outdoor fun, team activities, new friendships and the experience of being away from home for a new generation of kids at the popular Camp Waziyatah in Waterford, Maine.
Production[]
On August 4, 2017, Disney Channel announced that production was underway for a relaunch of Bug Juice, a docuseries that aired from February 28, 1998 to October 15, 2001. Production took place at Camp Waziyatah in Waterford, Maine, the location of the first season of the original series, with an expected series premiere in early 2018. On April 19, 2018, it was announced that the relaunched series would be titled Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp, and would premiere in summer 2018. The series premiered on July 16, 2018. Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin, Tina Gazzero Clapp, and Toni Gallagher serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Evolution Media. On July 12, 2018, Disney Channel released the theme song for the series on YouTube. The show was made available on Disney+ when the service launched on November 12, 2019, but in March 2022, it was removed for unknown reasons.
