The Butterfly Room is the room reserved for the preschool children and above of Sunnyside Daycare. It is also the primary location for the misleading villains in the 2010 Disney/Pixar animated film, Toy Story 3.
Role in the film
It is seen in many beginner sequences and is the introductory room shown in Ken's Dream Tour.
It is the opposite of the Caterpillar Room in which the toddler children abuse the toys offered during the aftermath of recess and is the prime location for Andy's toys seeing as Barbie was never officially Andy's but his sister Molly's property.
Buzz, in his reversal Demo State, is allowed in the vicinity used for Lotso and the strong toys residence where they are played by the respectful older children stemming from three years and above.
It is the prime area containing Ken's Dream House shown in Barbie's tour sequence and her double cross.
In the end credits, when Sunnyside is revolutionized into a cool and groovy paradise for all toys by Barbie and Ken, toys from the Butterfly Room take turns enduring a rough playtime with the toddlers in the Caterpillar Room while toys from the Caterpillar Room are welcomed into the Butterfly Room to enjoy a nice playtime with the preschoolers. One night, the Butterfly Room is used to hold a disco party, and all the Sunnyside toys gather in the room to enjoy the disco.
