"Bygones" is the sixty-forth episode of The Disney Afternoon animated series, TaleSpin. It premiered on May 4, 1991.
Plot[]
When Baloo meets a pilot who claims he is Rick Sky, who had vanished some twenty years ago, Sky takes the Sea Duck to finish a mission he had failed to complete.
Baloo has to evade Air Pirates, get the Sea Duck back, and find out who this mysterious pilot really is.

- This episode famously contains the one indication in the entire series of during which year or years the series takes place. In this episode, Baloo states "The Great War ended twenty years ago." World War I was known as "the Great War" prior to World War II (which began in 1939), and ended in 1918. Twenty years later would be the year 1938, placing this episode during that year, and the TaleSpin series as a whole set both in and around that year.
