. It was named after Cyrus Kurtz Holliday
, founder of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway
, which was the sponsor of the Disneyland Railroad from 1955 to 1974
. It is equipped with a single-chime Lunkenheimer steam whistle.
The steam engine was converted to burn biodiesel in 2007, as it is less polluting than burning Diesel #2.
On a side note, C. K. Holliday is also the name of steam locomotive 2 at the Disneyland Railroad in Disneyland Paris.
