This article is about the Jake and the Never Land Pirates episode. For the character, see Captain Frost.
"Captain Frost" is the first segment of the eighty-eighth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on March 6, 2015 alongside "The Legendary Snow-Foot!", and is the first segment of the twenty-seventh episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Captain Frost, a visitor from the frozen Never North, arrives at Pirate Island and is delighted to see Jake and his crew. They introduce themselves, and Captain Frost mentions that his ship, The Winter Hawk, is carved from ice. In the Never North, everything is made out of ice. Captain Frost shows Jake and his crew the Northwind Snowflake, a magical crystal that can freeze anything. It was recently stolen by Captain Hook, and Jake and his crew decide to help Captain Frost get back the Northwind Snowflake.
Later, Captain Hook arrives at Mermaid Lagoon to confront Marina and the mermaids and take their treasure. Captain Hook uses the Northwind Snowflake to get the mermaids to flee and for his crew to retrieve the treasure. Captain Hook opens the treasure when Jake and his crew arrive to take back the Northwind Snowflake. Captain Hook and his crew then head to shore. Jake and his crew throw snowballs at them before Jake arrives at the treasure. Captain Hook attempts to get it, causing it to slide down the ice and the mermaids to recover it before deciding to hide it where he'll never find it again. For saving the mermaids' treasure, they earned four gold doubloons.
Captain Hook uses a pickaxe to break the ice before his crew escapes. Captain Frost rescues Jake, and Cubby notices the ice melting. Jake decides for his crew to use Captain Hook's own greediness against him, and he has an idea. As Captain Hook's crew sea sled, he spots the Pirate Princess and her ship. He risks to freeze the ship unless the Pirate Princess gives him all her diamonds. She utilizes her Rainbow Wand, but the Northwind Snowflake is more powerful and freezes the wand. Captain Hook decides to build an iceberg that would keep the ship in cold storage for a long time, but Izzy uses her Pixie Dust to raise the ship out of the ocean, causing the Northwind Snowflake's magic to hit The Winter Hawk, making it back to normal. Hook realizes he's been tricked and orders Mr. Smee to steer away, while Izzy catches up with Jake's crew and Captain Frost.
To stop Captain Hook's crew, Jake and Cubby use the frosty cannon to launch a snowball so that they land on the ice, with Captain Hook frozen in an iceberg. Captain Frost then takes back the Northwind Snowflake before Sharky and Bones send Captain Hook back to shore with Mr. Smee following. For stopping Hook and getting the Northwind Snowflake back, they earned five more gold doubloons. Captain Frost goes to return the Northwind Snowflake to the Never North while Jake and his crew decide to get a ride with the Pirate Princess to Pirate Island. Captain Frost tells them to visit the Never North anytime.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Cubby serves the crew hot cocoa for them to warm up. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook's crew is suffering a cold, with Captain Hook's sneezing freeing him from the iceberg.
