Captain Beatrix[]
Grime and Beatrix are siblings, but they don't seem to get along very well, most likely because Grime picked on her when they were younger. Even when Beatrix commends her brother, she acts condescending towards him; mockingly calling him by his real name "Grimothy".

Soldiers[]
Originally, Grime was relatively negative towards his soldiers, giving them harsh punishments and speaking to them demeaningly. After taking Sasha's advice and using praise in order to win their favour, he begins treating them better, seeing them improve in turn. By the events of "Barrel's Warhammer", he finally realized the limitations of his troops as he allows Percy and Braddock to leave after he and Sasha put their lives in danger.
Plantar Family[]
After learning of Hop Pop inspiring revolutions all over Frog Valley he decided to eliminate the elderly Frog only to be thwarted by Anne Boonchuy and her allies. When meeting the Plantars again in "The Third Temple," he and Sasha pretended to be reformed so they could use Anne and the Plantars to gain access to Newtopia for their invasion plan. However, while gaining their trust he seemed to genuinely enjoy their company despite a few awkward moments. This trust became supremely broken when Sasha and Grime staged their coup. When trying to stop Anne and her allies foiling the siege on the capital, Grime was surprised when Sprig managed to defeat him. When King Andrias showed his true sinister motives, the Plantars decided to put their anger towards Grime aside for another time and work with him and Sasha to stop the bigger threat. As they fought Andrias, Grime was horrified when the newt king attempted kill Polly and Sprig, showing he had some concern for the Plantar children. After Anne bested Andrias in a duel with her Calamity powers, Grime fought Andrias to give Anne and the Plantars time to escape to Earth.
King Andrias[]
After losing leadership of Toad Tower, Grime decided to overthrow King Andrias and take over Amphibia. He was able to grant support from the other Toad Towers in order to stage his invasion. In "True Colors," Grime finally met Andrias and fought the king where he ordered the royal guard to surrender as he threatened to kill Andrias. Then, when sending Andrias to the dungeon, Grime taunted the king of the coming invasion. However, upon discovering the true nature of Andrias, depicted in a hidden mural, Grime was horrified to see the king was not as benevolent as everyone thought and was possibly even worse in personality than him. After Andrias blew up the Northern Toad Tower as a demonstration of his power, Grime was horrified and worked with Sasha, Anne, Marcy and the Plantars in stopping the king from invading Earth. Once Anne bested Andrias with her Calamity powers, Grime and Sasha fought Andrias to give Anne and the Plantars time to escape to Earth before the two were defeared by him.

Grime and Sasha.

At first, Grime treated Sasha as his prisoner as he got annoyed when she encouraged his army to quit and got on his nerves. However, after Sasha saved him from herons and gave him some wise advices, Grime comes to see her in a new light and decided to make her his second in command, which she accepts. Also, overtime, Grime discovers his first friend in Sasha as he tries to help her find her human friends and get her back to her world. After her fight with Anne, Grime knew why Sasha was pushing herself was because she was hurt that she stood up to her and had no where to go. However, Grime becomes surprised how right he was about Sasha but more so when she told that he's her friend, which he appreciated.
Also, Grime realized that he and Sasha have a lot in common, which is what made their friendship stronger. Grime even gave Sasha another sword as a gift and would cheer her up whenever she was feeling down. Upon discovering the true nature of King Andrias, Grime aided Sasha in trying to stop him. Like Sprig with Anne, Grime has Sasha's back and is with her till the end. Grime even goes through a change of heart because of his friendship with Sasha and wanting to be by her side.
Anne Boonchuy[]
When Grime and Anne meet in "Reunion", she and Grime were opposed as the toad soldiers had captured the citizens of Wartwood with goal of executing Hop Pop. He proposed a duel between Anne and Sasha in order to decide Hop Pop fate. When Anne wins the duel against Sasha and ask to be allowed to leave with Hop Hop and the other frogs of Wartwood, Grime goes back on word attempting to kill Hop Pop anyways. After the collapse of Toad Tower, Grime glared at Anne as he carried the unconscious Sasha with him as he and his troops disappeared from the sight.
Later in "The Third Temple", Grime claimed to Anne to be reformed in order to try to entered Newtopia. After King Andrias revealed his true intentions of world domination, Grime worked together with Anne in battling Andrias, in an attempt to stop him. Grime then fought alongside Sasha in order to give Anne and Marcy a chance to escape back to Earth, only to succeed with Anne escaping to Earth with the Plantars.
