"Captain Hook's Parrot" is the first segment of the twenty-first episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on September 19, 2011 alongside "Skybird Island is Falling!".
Plot[]
Jake and his crew race to a shipwreck with Jake making it there first. As they play hide-and-seek next, Captain Hook spots their parrot, Skully. He mentions that all great pirates have birds and orders his crew to find a bird. After they go through an eagle, a baby chick, and an owl, Mr. Smee suggests finding a friend like Skully, and Captain Hook orders him to do so. As Jake and his crew continue hide-and-seek, Skully spots pretend birds and sees Mr. Smee hanging them before being caged by Captain Hook, who has been looking for a loyal and trustworthy companion. Jake and his crew then go to get Skully back.
Captain Hook's crew then come across Hava-Banana Grove and Skully comes up with an idea to slow Captain Hook down by playing Banana-Toss with a monkey. As Captain Hook's crew leave, Jake and his crew come across different paths and Jake comes up with an idea to listen carefully for Captain Hook to know where he went. They hear Captain Hook down the third path, and they take that path to catch up to him.
Captain Hook's crew are at Mermaid Lagoon when Skully tells them that Jake and his crew will follow the footprints. On Captain Hook's orders, Sharky and Bones use palm fronds to hide the footprints while they continue on. Skully dances to Sharky and Bones' music and leaves tail feathers for Jake and his crew to follow.
As Captain Hook's crew takes a dinghy to the Jolly Roger, Jake calls Bucky for his crew to catch up to them. On the Jolly Roger, Sharky and Bones perform a song about the characteristics of the ship to Skully. Captain Hook offers Skully to join his crew, but Skully refuses. Jake and his crew arrive and Captain Hook hangs Skully at the top of the sail. As Cubby swabs the deck so that Captain Hook's crew slides away, Jake rescues Skully. Since the cage is locked and Captain Hook has the key, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust for Jake's crew and Skully to fly to safety, with Jake taking the key to free Skully before returning it to Captain Hook, who then gets caged.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew reassure Skully that friends are the greatest treasure ever before putting the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. They then race Skully to a rock. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook treats Mr. Smee as his new pet companion, feeding him a cracker.

- This episode may be a reference to the fact that Hook was going to have a pet parrot in the original film.
- Jake and his crew collect eleven gold doubloons.
- Beatrice Le Beak makes an early cameo as a portrait on Hook's ship, with a very different design. She would not make her first formal appearance until "Jake and Sneaky Le Beak!".
- According to Cubby, taking Skully was the worst thing Hook ever did.
