Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial is a guest experience based on the pirate teachings found in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, located in front of its attraction and next to Tortuga Tavern at Magic Kingdom. The show at Hong Kong Disneyland was only in 2007, as part of a promotional event titled "Pirate Takeover"[1], located at the entrance of the theme land.
Show summary[]
Captain Jack Sparrow is looking for new recruits for his band of buccaneers. Mack, his comical crewman, appears seemingly at random to start the show. Mack calls for new recruits who will be trained in the fine art of pirating by Jack Sparrow himself. Jack Sparrow shows up, and children from the audience volunteer for the crew. Much fun is had by all with foam swordplay, drill, and piratical banter. All the kids receive a pirate crew certificate.
