Captain Nemo is an upcoming film based on the Jules Verne novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. It will be directed by James Mangold ^[1].

It will serve as a prequel to the story of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, detailing the origin of Captain Nemo, though it is as yet unclear if it is only a prequel to the loose story of the original Verne novel, or directly tied to the preexisting Disney film adaptation.
