Carlo Steven Krakoff, professionally known as Carl Steven, was an American retired child actor. His best known Disney role was Tommy Pervis in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids when he was fourteen or fifteen years old. He also appeared in the 1986 ABC special Fluppy Dogs for a major voice-over role as Jamie Bingham.
Outside of Disney, he was well-known for voicing Freddie Jones in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo in 1988-1991, along with Kellie Martin. He would appear on screen or in voiceover roles for shows, such as Little House on the Prairie, Quincy M.E., The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, Diff'rent Strokes, Punky Brewster, Popeye and Son, The Wonder Years, and Weird Science. He also appeared in films, like Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Teen Wolf, A Night at the Magic Castle, and White Angel.
He retired in 1996 and became addicted to prescription medications after a tonsillectomy, and stole to support his addiction. He was arrested for armed robbery in 2010 and, during his 13-year sentence, died of a heroin overdose in Tucson, Arizona in 2011.
