Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress, best known for her viral 2012 hit song "Call Me Maybe". She was initially discovered on the Canadian reality talent competition show Canadian Idol, the Canadian version of American Idol. She also voiced Odette in the 2016 film Ballerina.

For Disney, she appeared as herself in the Shake It Up episode "My Fair Librarian It Up", the 2012 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, and the "Dead from New York" episode of the ABC series Castle. She also sang a cover version of the song "Part of Your World" for The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition.
