Carole Holliday is an animator for Walt Disney Animation Studios who is also founder of Crowded Metro Films.
Initially wanting to be a theater actress, Holliday chose a career in animation after seeing a combination of her passion for theater and drawing. She graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in animation and worked on animated shows such as Muppet Babies, My Little Pony, Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures, and The Pound Puppies TV special in 1985.
Holliday began at Disney as an animation assistant on Oliver & Company and The Little Mermaid. She soon made her way into storyboarding with Disneytoon Studios' A Goofy Movie, Tarzan, The Jungle Book 2, Home on the Range, and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. She has done storyboard revisions on Disney Television Animation's Sofia the First and worked on story books for Elena of Avalor and Fancy Nancy respectively.
Outside of Disney, she worked on The Prince of Egypt, Rover Dangerfield, Alpha & Omega, and Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz as well as animated shows such as Tutenstien, Superbook, Spirit Riding Free, Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles, and Jessica's Big Little World. She latered directed her own live-action short film, Witt's Daughter, which won the Best Narrative Short Award at the 2009 GI film festival.
