Carole Shelley was an English actress, voice actress, and singer who was best known for her roles as Gwendolyn Pigeon in the original Broadway production of The Odd Couple and the film, and as Madame Morrible in the original Broadway cast of Wicked. For Disney, she voiced Amelia Gabble the Goose in the 1970 animated film, The Aristocats, Lady Kluck in the 1973 animated film, Robin Hood, and Lachesis the Fate in the 1997 animated film, Hercules, a role she reprised in Hercules: The Animated Series and various Hercules video games. She also played Fiona in Jungle 2 Jungle, and Cornwall Aunt in Quiz Show. She died 15 days after her 79th birthday.
